Qualifications: I'm a journalist with more than 15 years of experience who is seeking a position at a daily or weekly newspaper as news editor, managing editor or Web editor. I have significant experience in community journalism, with a background in reporting, photography, copy editing, page design, Website management, social media management, digital news package planning and team leadership. I also won an MDDC Press Association award for page one design in 2007. Most recently, I worked as the managing editor of a six-day newspaper in Illinois.
